The 2009 Tour for Kids 3-day cycling adventure starts July 17th, raising fundsto sendAlberta childrenwith cancer to summer camp. In it's third year, the Tour for Kids ride follows a spectacular route through Banff National Park andthe Icefields parkwayfinishing in Calgary. Cyclists choose to ride daily distancesofeither100 km/dayor 170 km/day with the full support ofmechanics, medical staffand the road crew. The Tour for Kids event has raised over $375,000 in its first two years with 100% of thefunds going directly to the camp through the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta.
